Recently, Tianjin Xinyue secured another order from a Southeast Asian customer backed by its robust capabilities in overseas project delivery. The steel pipes under this order will be used for the customer’s local factory upgrade project, which imposes tight delivery schedules and stringent technical requirements. Leveraging the long-standing sound cooperation between both parties, the order was finalized in just two days.
Tianjin Xinyue has deep roots in the Southeast Asian market with extensive experience in supplying regional projects, and has provided products and services for major local clients including PETRONAS.
The products for this order are manufactured to ASTM A671 GR.65 CL22, S2. CL22 refers to post-weld heat treatment, while S2 denotes the requirement for low-temperature impact testing. To ensure product performance meets specifications, the sales and quality inspection teams worked in tandem. Steel pipe samples were taken and sent to a third-party laboratory for testing. The final mechanical properties and low-temperature impact indicators of the products all complied with the applicable standards.
Prior to shipment, the quality inspection team conducted full-process self-inspection on steel pipes, pipe fittings and flanges, including dimension verification, visual inspection and composition testing via handheld spectrometer.Given the customer’s urgent demand for goods and to balance delivery lead time and project costs, the Xinyue team customized a logistics solution: part of the products would be shipped by air, and the rest delivered by sea. After multiple rounds of detailed communications, both parties finally confirmed the specifications and quantities of air freight cargo.
