Recently, Xinyue Steel has successfully secured its first cooperation with an African client. The inquiry was received in February 2026, and the formal order was finalized in April 2026. This marks the client’s trial maiden order in steel pipe procurement. After comprehensive investigation and evaluation, the client ultimately chose Xinyue Steel for its initial cooperation and intends to establish a long-term strategic partnership.
The client mainly engages in fire protection product trading and is a newcomer to steel pipe procurement. Faced with a host of professional matters including API 5L standards, material specifications, production processes and delivery control, the client had numerous questions at the initial stage. The Xinyue team took the initiative to communicate with the client. Starting with basic product knowledge, the team explained in plain terms the characteristics of API 5L GR.B material, the full production workflow of steel pipes and the comprehensive quality inspection system. In March 2026, the client entrusted an agent to conduct on-site inspections of multiple suppliers. The agent was scheduled to visit four factories across different regions within two days under a tight schedule. Afterwards, the agent was guided to tour the production workshops. The standardized and orderly production procedures as well as visualized quality management system won on-site recognition from the representative. Among the four suppliers under evaluation, Xinyue Steel stood out thanks to its sound quality control system.
